Considering a Whippet?

transferred71008 1875.jpg

If you are looking for a rescue whippet, you may have to wait awhile. Fortunately there are very few whippets in rescue nationally at any one time. This is partly due to a commitment by whippet breeders to take back dogs of their own breeding when necessary. Most whippet breeders also are willing to help any whippet in distress at any time.

It all started with Chase and Ivy. We bred them twice and then Ivy once again to Joker (Nevedith's Justa Joker, imported from England). The rest of Timbreblue has come down from those three breedings.

Chase (Appraxin Kamikaze) lived his very best years with Bevalee Crawley in Upper Marlboro, MD. The dog who hated the show ring learned to be a freestyle dancer with Bev, achieved a title in dancing at the age of nine, and left us all far too soon at 12 1/2 years old.

Ivy (Ch Appraxin Sensation at Timbreblue) is still ruling Timbreblue.

Here are the first litters. Click the arrows to the next generations.
