Named after Carrie Jubb and Chris Elledge's girl Luna, who died suddenly of cancer in 2011 just after a costly orthopedic surgery, the Luna Fund is a strictly voluntary fund our owners have set up to help each other with catastrophic vet bills. Anyone in the Timbreblue/Marnay family needing help should contact us privately. Help will be on an anonymous basis -- no one needs to know you applied -- though of course the books will be open to anyone who has a concern.
We have a Paypal account set up and Naydene Mitchell of Marnay Whippets is keeping the books. Naydene started in whippets with a Timbreblue dog over a decade ago, and our families have remained very close over the years. Obviously we won't be able to pay entire vet bills, but if you've been hit with a real hardship because of an injury or serious illness involving a Marnay or Timbreblue dog, we'll do our best to help. The amount we're able to contribute will depend on contributions to the fund, of course.

Scentsy Fundraiser:
 Johannah Hutchens Gage is hosting a Scentsy fundraiser for the Luna Fund during the month of January 2012. 20% of all money raised will go directly to the Luna Fund. Scentsy is the original flameless, wickless candle. It works by gently warming scented wax over a low-wattage light bulb, concealed in stylish ceramic warmers that match any decor. There are over 85 scents available for any taste. It is safe to use around pets, children, and those with asthma/allergies. The scents range from neutral, to feminine, to masculine.
